Do you describe success as being wealthy?

Before I share what I believe is the Missing Link with you I would like to discuss some of the myths that are being taught.

Doesn’t everyone want to be successful? It appears so as there are a myriad of Self-Help Gurus, Motivational Experts and Success Coaches that are producing materials like crazy that the public is purchasing in quick order. These experts teach goal setting; how to do daily affirmations, visualization, they write self help books and now we have the Law of Attraction to help us. With all this information available to us why is it that you do not feel successful in your life?

Experts really do want you to succeed. They genuinely want you to be prosperous in life. It is their mission in life to educate people to become all they can be. The methods they teach worked for them so why would it not work for you?

Is there a Missing Link?

I believe that when you finish reading this information you will find that there is a missing link. I do not believe that the experts are intentionally leaving this material out when they write and teach. I think that they just do not realize that they are doing it or just assume that everyone knows about it already.  Once you understand what the missing link is then all of the programs you chose to undertake will help you on your path to success.

I have been in the field of Human Development for over 25 years and just like you I undertook many of the techniques that would help me evolve into a greater person. But all these techniques did for me was to increase my level of frustration and feelings of failure. It seemed that I was never going to grow to the level that I wanted to. Does that sound familiar?

I wrote goals that I never achieved.

I wrote and read affirmations daily that never came true.

I undertook visualizing passionately and never saw anything happen.

I just got depressed over the whole thing. Believe it or not, when I asked friends and co workers about it they admitted to having the same results.

I have had a passion for helping people for as long as I can remember and it led me to a career as a Social Worker in my late 20’s. I had no money and needed to be trained in school for this profession, I was a single mother of two small boys, one of which suffered from mental health issues, and a very unsupportive boyfriend who was very insistent that I would be a failure. By sheer determination and a lot of self-talk I made it through school and graduated with honors and worked for the next 25 years in a job within my chosen career that I loved.

Still I did not feel successful even though I had helped many others move on and up in their lives. For me something was missing and I spent the past three years studying and trying to figure out what the missing link was. I even went through therapy for nearly two years because I had lost who I was somewhere along the way. Then it seemed as if one morning I woke up and had one of those AH HA moments and I had the answer I was seeking, I also found me again. Actually it was a process that happened over time but the understanding appeared to come in a flash. I finally understood and saw myself as a successful person. Not rich but successful.

This website was then developed from my desire to help others understand what success is and help them develop their inner strength so they can become more successful. I knew absolutely nothing about developing a website or anything else about the internet or working with it so once again with no knowledge and little money I set out to learn everything I could to undertake this task.

This is not a site that is a cookie cutter or cut and paste site, far from it. I hired a company to teach me how to build from scratch; it is still a work in progress with content being added on a continuous basis. But I have been successful in this endeavor and it has lead me to begin to write a book on developing inner strength. It is my wish that the information you find in this website and in my book, when it is published, will help you move on and up in your life to become as successful as you want to be.

You see, I am just like you, I want to achieve and grow to be successful just like anyone else. I needed to find the missing link of the puzzle and I needed to understand the myths of the self help industry so I could be more successful than I already was.
